About The Space Spot

The Space Spot is a traveling exhibition designed to bring basic astronomy and space science to communities that do not have easy access to a science center, and to reach people who might not be inclined to visit such a facility. The Space Spot offers an inviting, visually exciting, educational, hands-on experience in a nonthreatening environment.

Enjoyable for all ages, The Space Spot is free to the public. The exhibition includes this web site and a free take-home activity guide that visitors can use long after the The Space Spot leaves the community.

The Space Spot was produced by Pacific Science Center with support from the National Science Foundation.

To find out when The Space Spot will visit your area, please click on the Tour Schedule link at the left side of this page.
