Pacific Science Center's Science on the Go!

We bring the universe to you with our portable Planetarium! With our new digital projector, participants can sit Inside the inflatable dome and explore a wide variety of astronomy topics including:

• Sky Stories
• Moon Phases
• Planets and Planet Trails
• Navigation
• Galaxies
• Deep Space Objects
  

The portable planetarium is for everyone! The content of each show can be tailored to the age of the audience!

Requirements:

• Gymnasium or large room, at least 25 x 25 feet with a 12-foot ceiling
• One electrical outlet
  

Fees:

• $300 for up to 3 shows on the same day
• $100 each for additional show on the same day
• 5 shows maximum per day
• A 48.5c per mile mileage fee will be charged for all programs (subject to change)
• Lodging costs and an overnight fee of $45 per staff, per night may be required. (Pacific Science Center will make every effort to find reasonably priced lodging)
  

Program Length: 30 to 45 minutes per show
Capacity: Up to 125 participants per day, 25 per show
