The Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center Is Growing!

With the growing importance of environmental education in the community, our Mercer Slough programs have outgrown the education center's current facilities. We are pleased to be able to expand our space and naturalist-led programs to let more groups experience all that this wetland has to offer.

Groundbreaking for the new facility was held May 15, 2007 and the project should be completed by late 2008. Some of the exciting new features will be a multi-purpose building, multiple classroom spaces, and an expanded public restroom/outdoor sink facility. Stay informed about the project by signing up for our email newsletter. Just use the form on the left side of this page. The City of Bellevue also has construction updatesonline.
