Monthly
Star Maps
Below you will find links to Pacific Science Center's star
maps. There are six of them -- each will show you the
evening sky for a two-month period. These maps are designed
in Adobe Acrobat format; you will need to have the Adobe
Acrobat Reader (a free application) to be able to see and
print them (they fit on 8-1/2" x 11" letter-size paper).
These star maps are designed for the latitude of Seattle,
Washington, which is 47.3 degrees North; however, they will
work fine for any location in the world between about 40
and 55 degrees North latitude. In addition, they will work
for any year in the future, because they do not contain
objects that move during the month (such as planets). For
information on those objects, see our planetarium
→home page.
