Head to
Toe
The human body is a fascinating and complex machine,
with each of its many parts fulfilling a unique and
interesting function.
Head to Toe, based
on Pacific Science Center's nationally-acclaimed
Science On Wheels Blood and Guts exhibition,
educates visitors about five body topics: skeletons,
organs, the senses, general health, and general body facts.
Its modular kiosk design makes set up and take-down a snap
and allows for great flexibility in floor plan layouts.
(Appropriate Grade Levels: K-8)

Magnify and compare your fingerprints here and find out if
your print patterns are loops, arches, whorls...or maybe
just accidental.
Skull
Comparison
Examine real animal skulls and see if you can figure out
which animals have a strong sense of smell or which animals
have binocular vision. How do the teeth tell you what each
animal eats?
Backbones
Compare a human backbone to that of a snake--an animal that
is all backbone--and see how each uses its vertebrae for
differently.
Smell-O-Rama
Squeeze each of the seven bottles to blast a familiar scent
into the air. Can you identify it? Learn more about how
scent detector cells in the nose absorb chemicals and send
nerve impulses to the brain.
