Blood and Guts

Assembly Description
Students will learn all about physiology using a model skeleton and other fun props. We'll explore the skeletal system, follow the path of a red blood cell through the circulatory system and see how messages travel through the nervous system. These 30 minutes will get your students excited about their Blood and Guts day.

Exhibit Description:

  • Solve the puzzle of how all the organs fit inside the body with a model of the human torso.
  • Examine how your lungs are affected by smoking and study a piece of a real human brain!
  • By exploring our hands-on exhibit area, students are free to learn at their own pace and make discoveries about how their bodies work.
