Circus! Science Under The Big Top
June 12-September 6, 2010
Strap into a harness on the high wire (nine-feet above the ground!) and find out how good your balancing act is by trying to make it across the 20-foot long wire. (click here before your visit to see specific requirements for our harnessed interactives.) How much force can you exert with your hands in order to bend an iron bar? Discover how your body can use leverage, compression and tension to perform amazing feats of strength. Explore the art of packanatomicalization (getting into small spaces), and find out if a person can really fold themselves into a small box.
Imagination becomes reality in this one-of-a-kind summer exhibit at Pacific Science Center.
