Pacific Science Center camps are the perfect place to
explore, experiment and discover! This December and
February we are offering camps at Pacific Science Center in
Seattle and the Mercer Slough Environmental Education

One Day Snowshoe Camps,
Grade 3 - 6
Are you looking for a day of adventure during your winter
break? Join our Naturalists for a snowshoe day trip to
Snoqualmie Pass! Do you know the difference between a
coyote and cougar track? Begin your day discovering all the
various traits that are used to identify animal tracks in
the snow. Explore animal gaits (bounders versus hoppers)
and learn about the unique track features of some local
wild animals as you seek out your own animal track mystery.
Snowshoes supplied. Program begins and ends at Mercer
Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue.

It's a kids-only Science Celebration® for New Year’s Eve! Children grades 2-6
have an unforgettable overnight experience full of hands-on
science activities while parents can enjoy a night out on

→Mercer Slough Environmental Education
Center
The Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center offers a
"slough" of nature-related camps and family workshop
options. Join us for our break camps in December, February
and April as we hunt for animal tracks, seek out hidden
creatures and explore diverse habitats right outside our
backdoor on a 140-acre wetland corridor in the heart of
Bellevue.
Want a bigger adventure? Strap on some snowshoes and join
our naturalists as we explore Snoqualmie Pass with various
day trip options. These Snowshoe Science Expedition
workshops are available for school/scout groups and
individual families December through March. Snowshoes and
day passes for Snoqualmie Pass are provided as part of this
