Thanks to a generous grant from the →Pendleton and Elisabeth Carey Miller Charitable Foundation, Pacific Science Center's Horticulture Department has been able to provide interpretive materials (Plant Guides and Botanical signage) for the many plants in our Tropical Butterfly House.

Many thanks also need to be given to Terry Pagos, one of our extraordinaire volunteers who not only photographed our plants, but then spent hours digitally cropping them out on her computer to provide us the best possible images.

We are thrilled to be able to highlight our fabulous plants that, up until now had just been backdrops to the beautiful butterflies. We hope you enjoy these new interpretive materials and discover Horticulture(the applied science of Botany)!
