Did you know you can celebrate your birthday at Pacific Science Center? Every Saturday and Sunday, we host a variety of parties for kids of all ages. The celebration starts in one of the private birthday party rooms, located in the Seattle Rotary Discovery Labs. We provide everything you need, you just come and have fun! Guests arrive in a festive party environment the moment they walk in the door, with room decorations, cake and goodie bags all coordinated to match the chosen party theme. Experienced Pacific Science Center staff will dazzle the kids with a super science activity featuring a 20-minute Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Demonstration that creates ice cream you can really eat. When the party is over, you and your guests can enjoy the rest of the day exploring Pacific Science Center exhibits.

Sunshine Science - Escape the cloudy weather and relive those carefree summer days! Witness solar science in action as you discover the power of sunlight and then, get creative experimenting with bubbles.
Astronomy - Explore space. Visit the planets and stars as we talk about what's out there and what keeps us down here. Build your own rocket and find out what mix of "rocket fuel" will make a rocket go farthest!
Butterflies - Discover symmetry and chromatography while creating your own butterfly, and then take a look at some real creepy-crawlies - Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches! Imagine life through the mind of a bug.
Dinosaurs - Become a paleontologist as we look at fossils from the past. Discover how fossils are made and how many different types there are. Go on your own fossil hunt and see what you can uncover! Create a dinosaur mask and transform yourself into your favorite herbivore or carnivore.
